Zambia SIFE Winterterm

After 22 hours of flying SIFE Team Africa has finally arrived in Cape Town, South Africa! We are excited to spend two days exploring Cape Town before we pack up and head to Zambia where we are anxious to begin our project work.

We are honored to again be partnering and traveling with Jac and Sherri Kirkpatrick of HealthEd Connect as well as board member, Cherry Newcombe.

Don't know what Winter Term is?

Graceland University offers service-to-humanity Winter Term opportunities to current students each January – between fall and spring academic terms. It is a long-standing tradition that has taken thousands of students to far-flung villages and towns around the world. The students receive course credit, but the true meaning of Winter Term is that our students get the chance to experience, first hand, diverse cultures. They get their hands dirty with projects like improving schools, providing much-needed health-care services, building community structures, and working with budding entrepreneurs to help get new businesses started.
